Knitted Caps, Caps & Cowls/ Shoulder warmer/ Neckwarmer Sets

A few Caps, Cap & Cowls/ Shoulder/ Neck warmer Sets, knitted by me last month for loved ones & self. Some are made with acrylic yarn, some with a mix of acrylic & microfiber yarn & some with a mix of merino wool with silk blend.

Hand Knitted Botanical Lace Shawl

Hand Knitted Botanical Lace Shawl for self, made with Juniper Moon Farm Findley Extrafine Merino Wool & Mulberry Silk Blend in colours tamarindspirit & chocochino

Took me 232 hours approximately over the last 2 months to knit. Very happy with how it turned out. Very soft, cozy, warm & comfortable.

Original pattern Botanical Lace Wrap by Purl Soho designer Jake Canton. Changed the yarn, knitting needle size & doubled the pattern repeats to make it a Shawl instead of a wrap.

Approximately 109 inches long & 10.5 inches wide. 

Took approximately 82 hours to complete this scarf.

Reversible/ No wrong side Cap/ Hat, Scarf & Gloves set, hand-knitted by me, using a sublime baby cashmere merino silk dk (mix of 75% extra fibe merino, 20% silk & 5% cashmere) for self. I have given the index finger of the right hand glove a slight slit so i can use my mobile while wearing gloves.

Pattern is my own, using Seersucker Stitch.

Knitted Balaclavas & Crochet Heads

Knitted Balaclavas & Crochet Heads Custom-made for a client. The top row shows the drawings from the client with slight variations made as I went along to implement them in the final product. The black & white diamond balaclava underwent the maximum change as can be seen in the 3rd picture.

Knitted Balaclavas made for client in February this year. The top row shows his drawings & the bottom two my work. Had to chart the pattern on graph paper & do.. was fun to work out the exact placement of eye holes, wonky nose, wonky face 😊. Made with stylecraft life dk yarn (25% wool & 75% premium acrylic) 

Crochet Heads custom made for client last month to match some of the balaclavas. Made with cotton yarn. 

This is the balaclava that underwent the most change from design stage to implementation.
